Posting to YouTube

Your free first Short, review-first posting, Autopilot, scheduling and the YouTube receipts.

Connect your channel

Connect your YouTube channel from your Studio through Google's own consent screen. Everpop asks for permission to upload only when you first publish, and it publishes only to channels you connect.

If Everpop loses access to your channel, it emails you once and the channel's tile asks you to reconnect.

Your free first Short

Your first video is free — up to 3 clips, no card. You can post one of those clips to YouTube and get its 48-hour receipt. The free Short posts right away — scheduling comes with a plan — and the Everpop sample clip can't be posted. Posting the rest needs a plan.

Review-first and Autopilot

New accounts start in Review-first: each clip waits for your approval, and nothing leaves Everpop until you publish it. On Starter you approve every post.

On Pro and Scale you can switch on Autopilot in Settings: clips post to your connected YouTube, Instagram and Facebook accounts when they're ready, up to 5 YouTube auto-posts a day across all your channels. A clip Everpop flags for a closer look waits for you instead. During a free trial you approve each post; Autopilot starts with your paid plan.

Scheduling

With a plan you can schedule a YouTube Short to go live at a time you choose, from 2 minutes to a week ahead; leave the time empty to publish now. A scheduled Short can go live up to about 30 minutes after the time you set, or later if our scheduler is down. Changed your mind? Use "Cancel schedule" on the post.

Scheduling is for YouTube Shorts. Instagram and Facebook Reels go out when you publish them, and a TikTok draft reaches your inbox when you send it.

When YouTube's daily limit is reached

YouTube limits how many videos an app can upload each day. When that limit is reached, the post says so: "Everpop's shared YouTube upload quota for today is used up — your post is queued and retries automatically. The quota resets at midnight Pacific time." A post still waiting after 7 days stops retrying, and Retry on the post sends it again.

Receipts

For each eligible Short — published through Everpop to the YouTube channel you connected, and not since made private or deleted — a receipt records views, average view percentage, subscribers gained and likes from the YouTube Analytics API, at 48 hours and 7 days after publishing. A receipt is a link you can share. It records what one Short did; it is not a forecast.
